Documint (Legal Document Generation)
A critical component of Tokery’s stack is automated legal document creation. Tokery uses Documint, a document generation engine, to produce the legal wrappers for each tokenized asset. When an asset owner inputs details, Tokery’s backend selects the appropriate legal template (based on asset type and jurisdiction) and populates it with the asset’s data. These templates – vetted by partner law firms – might include documents like a token offering memorandum, an SPV (special purpose vehicle) charter, or a trust agreement, depending on what structure is required to make the token legally meaningful. Documint’s API fills in the template (owner name, asset details, regulatory disclosures, etc.) and generates a PDF or digital document. This document is then stored via Tokery’s storage layer (see below) and its hash or link is associated with the asset token, ensuring on-chain investors can always retrieve the legal provenance of the asset. By automating this step, Tokery removes the need for users to hire lawyers or manually draft paperwork in most cases.
